We hear about the "unchurched." Those persons who may profess to be Christians but do not attend anywhere regularly. In this lesson, we examine should a person "be in a church" and if so which church would God "put you in." We use some answers from "Ask The Pastor." The X factor is a variable or element in an equation that makes the difference or gives and advantage. When people say that baptism has no part in man's salvation, it is taking the X factor out of salvation. The X factor is not the water. The X factor is God. The Bible says God works (operates) in baptism (Col 2:11-12). To say that baptism is not important is to take the one "factor" that can remove sins (God) out of the equation. When denominations they are all part of the body of Christ, they do not know what they are saying. They are making the body of Christ look like a freak show, by making Christ the head and all the denominations the bodies. We demonstrate that the "bodies" of denominations are all different, not like the unified like the members of a body. Not only do denominations make Christ have one head and different bodies, all the bodies are different ages! Can you imagine having a body that has a 80 year old head, a 30 year old leg, a 10 year old arm and a 5 year old knee? Well, if denominations make up the body of Christ, why is it they are different ages? Would the body not be as old as the head?
